Freeman Elohor OLUOWO is a fine researcher, stakeholder engagement and climate change specialist. He has over 10 years of experience in environment, water, agriculture and pollution management, and has participated in several environmental impact assessments, aquatic,
biodiversity and oil spill management studies. He is the founder and Centre Coordinator for African Centre for Climate Actions and Rural Development (ACCARD) Initiative. A Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) advancing the SDGs, building capacity, entrepreneurial and alternative livelihood skills particularly for youths and women. Currently, coordinating institutional effort in climate change research, documentation and science knowledge
deployment in sector management in Nigeria, particularly in environmental governance in the Nigerian Niger Delta. He is the main host to the Niger Delta Climate Conference and Regional Pre-COP Meetings, Capacity building for community stakeholders in Climate Change Management and Community Development, State of the Nigerian Environment and United Nations main events in Delta State.
Freeman holds an International Masters (M.Sc) degree in Marine-based Ecosystems Management and Climate Change from NORAD programme; Masters (M.Sc) degree in Environmental Quality Management from University of Benin, Nigeria; Diploma in Laws of the Seas from the United Nations- Korea Maritime Institute, South Korea, Sustainable Development of Life Below
