Yawri Carr is an artificial intelligence and Internet governance researcher and activist. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Responsibility in Science, Engineering & Technology at the Technical University of Munich and holds a Bachelors of Law with concentration in Technology from University of Costa Rica. She’s also an assistant at the Leibniz Institute for Media Research and a digital youth envoy at the International Telecommunications Union.
Her previous experience includes policy briefing for the United Nation’s Internet Governance Forum and the Organization of American States, coordination of “We the Internet” the national dialogue for the Future of the Internet in Costa Rica, and research assistance on science and technology policy at the Technical University of Munich.
