I have contributed to the 2009 and 2010 editions of GISWatch with chapters on the use of indicators.

I work as a senior program manager and researcher for TNO, department of Strategy and Policy and in that capacity I lead several research programs; a program on developing indicators for monitoring developments and trends in the Information Society for the Dutch Ministry of economic Affairs, a program on 'Creative Industries', and a program on Big Data (ecosystems). Further I manage and participate in international Framework Contracts and (service) contracts for clients such as the European Commission, The European parliament and Dutch Ministries.
I have worked as a researcher/consultant, project manager and program manager is different parts of TNO and hold a master degree in International Business at the University of Maastricht.
